Even so, if you’re a classic car enthusiast, you may want to steer clear of these vehicles. They’re not very reliable and do not have seatbelts.

Beyond the old American classics, however, Cuba has a diverse selection of modern vehicles to choose from. These include Chinese, South Korean and some European models. These cars are used by diplomats, government officials and prominent Cuban artists. They’re also often used by police.

Taxi service
