How much do Formula 1 drivers earn from their racing team?

Formula 1 is considered the premier class of motorsport. The drivers are among the absolute top earners in the sports business. But there are huge differences in the salaries of individual drivers. This is how Lewis Hamilton runs the List of top earners and push younger drivers to the back seats.

However, the actual income of Formula 1 drivers is considerably higher, since most basic salaries are supplemented with points and victory bonuses. In addition, most pilots still have high-value advertising contracts, which allow more millions to flow into their bank accounts.

What is noticeable in 2021, however, is that many contracts are expiring or have only been set for one season at all. A lot will probably shift in the course of the season.
