It was recently reported that the embattled internet fraudster Ray Hushpuppi, whose real name is Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, married one Shawana Nakesia Chapman in October 2018. She is a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis, a Caribbean Island in North America.

In a statement by Prime Minister Timothy Harris, he stated that Hushpuppi became a legal citizen of the country by marriage. He debunked claims that he obtained the citizenship by using the citizenship by investment option.

According to reports, alleged internet fraudster, Ramon Olorunwa Abbas popularly known as Ray Hushpuppi got married in 2018 to a native of St. Kitts identified as Shawana Nakesia Chapman.

The 32-year-old wife of Mr Abbas was said to have been granted a St. Kitts passport in February 2020 by virtue of her marriage to the Nigerian-born internet fraudster.

He is currently facing charges in the United States of America (USA) for money laundering conspiracy. In his plea deal, he is expected to pay restitution to victims of his scams and frauds.

Until his arrest in June 2020, the Instagram influencer had been living the high life. His fleet of fast cars and designer clothes were a sight to behold for those who know him.

The alleged internet fraudster is currently in jail in the USA where he faces a 20 years sentence for his crimes. He is a prolific international scammer and has been arrested multiple times by intelligence agencies.

Ray Hushpuppi’s Children
