He was able to get roles in TV shows like ‘Have Gun, Will Travel and Hennesey.

There were two TV shows called Riverboat’ and The Islanders.  However, when he played Bernardo O’Reilly in the film The Magnificent Seven directed by John Sturges, he experienced real fame for the first time. After three years, Bronson was selected to play a character named Danny Velinski, who was a Polish person feeling scared in small spaces, in a movie called “The Great Escape”. The movie was made by Sturges and had a lot of money to spend, and it was set in a time after World War II. From 1963 to 1967, he was on a lot of TV shows like Empire, The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters, The Legend of Jesse James, and Combat.
