Your BMI is below 20

Your body fat percentage is very low. If you’re an athlete, this could be a good indication. Your BMI is 20-25

Your body fat percentage is seemingly ideal and you find yourself in a healthy body shape. You can expect to live a long, healthy life with little chance of trouble regarding severe illnesses.

Your BMI is 25-30 

You might be slightly overweight. Your body weight is still acceptable and you do not find yourself in a position where your health is under any risk or threat. Losing 3-4 kg, however, could be greatly beneficial, and you probably shouldn’t gain more weight.

Your BMI is 30-35 

From this value on you are considered obese and suffer from a high risk of heart illness, diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, and all sorts of psychological trouble. For your own health, you should lose weight immediately.

Your BMI is Above 35

Men and women in this category are considered morbidly obese and are eligible for weight loss surgeries
