From coast to countryside: Top destinations for caravan holidays

There are hundreds of locations to choose from when you are looking for your next holiday – but which one is right for you? 

Whether you’re after a relaxing weekend by the coast, or a two-week holiday surrounded by greenery, we can find the place for you! 

This article will share some of our favourite locations, where you can stay at a caravan park and have some well-deserved time off. Keep reading to find out more… 

Cornwall

Cornwall is known for its picturesque towns and views, with beaches voted some of the best in the world. As the surf capital of the United Kingdom – could Cornwall be your next holiday location?

Cornwall is a county filled with historical places to visit, such as Tintagel Castle and St Michael’s Mount, and incredible nature locations such as The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

As well as this, you’ll also find some tasty, traditional food and drink options, like the iconic Cornish pasty! 

And who could forget the coastline attractions? Will you be visiting the waves of the Atlantic Ocean, crashing onto the beach? 

The New Forest

This location will really immerse you in nature! 

Surrounded by greenery, you’ll be sure to feel relaxed when holidaying in the New Forest. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and the laughter of children playing in the forest, there is no better way to feel at one with yourself, and nature. 

Based in Hampshire, the New Forest has plenty of options for everyone on your getaway. You can visit the popular tourist town of Lyndhurst, and explore the village centre where you’ll find shops, cafes, pubs and a museum with exhibitions about the area. 

If you’re the active type, you can cycle on the bike paths or even go on horseback along the 100 miles of off-road trails! There are guided tours for those who want to understand the history of the area and activities for children to get involved. Find a range of theme parks, farms, cinemas and the iconic Peppa Pig World! 

Isle of Wight

Just an island hop away, the Isle of Wight is filled to the brim with natural beauty, iconic landmarks, nature-filled walks, and the perfect stargazing spots. 

Whether you fancy a bit of sailing whilst you’re away, or just a relaxing day at the beach, the Isle of Wight is known for its long beaches – some are even award-winning! If it’s a spot of stargazing with your other half that you’re looking for, the island has some great locations, perfect for a night under the stars.

There’s a lot for the little ones to get involved in too. Including Monkey Haven, Tapnell Farm Park, Robin Hill, Sandham Gardens and, of course, the land of imagination that is – Blackgang Chine – the oldest amusement park in the UK!
