Mino Raiola: Player’s Agent Net Worth and Earnings
How much money does Mino Raiola earn?
Mino Raiola is arguably the best-known player’s agent and has been criticized by the media again and again. He represents football superstars such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba, Mario Balotelli and Romelu Lukaku and earns millions himself in transfers and bonuses. So it’s no wonder that big club bosses tremble when the powerful advisor shows up. Because when Raiola comes, it is usually quite expensive for the club. The stars he represents trust him completely. He himself states that he always has a very familiar relationship with his clients. The Italian lives in the tax haven of Monaco and in 2016 bought the villa from the notorious gang boss Al Capone in Miami for the equivalent of 9 million euros. We appreciate that Mino Raiola has assets of around 100 million euros.
With transfers to millions
Alone in the then record transfer of Paul Pogba for 105 million euros from Juventus Turin to Manchester United Raiola earned 49 million euros. 27 million euros flowed directly from Juve to his company Topscore Sports Limited in London and ManU deposited a further 19.4 million euros as commission. Pogba himself added another 2.6 million euros as a reward. Makes an incredible 49 million euros. Taxes, employees and lawyers must of course also be paid from this. With these sums it is clear that there is a lot left for the Italians and that they can pay themselves such a nice salary and thus further expand their fortune. Raiola is also said to have earned around 8 million in the transfer of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United for 42 million euros.
In an interview some time ago he said the following sentence:
They start from the premise that I am negotiating a transfer to make money. To be honest, I haven’t really cared about money for a long time.
Transfer ban 2019
The Italian federation has imposed a three-month ban on Mino because of an unauthorized poaching of a football talent. This penalty was adopted by FIFA and should apply worldwide from 9 May 2019. Lucrative summer transfers in 2019 would have been excluded for the player agent. On June 14th However, he got the right to appeal and the ban was lifted.
