THE Maneskin are an Italian music band active since 2015. The members, all from Rome, are the leader Damiano David, the bassist Victoria De Angelis, the guitarist Thomas Raggi and the baptist Ethan Torchio. Biography
THE Maneskin they are a gender group pop rock And funk rock, formed in 2015 a Rome. Famous is the photo that portrays them, very young, performing in the middle of Via del Corso singing in the street. They reach notoriety in 2017 following participation in the eleventh edition of X-Factor Italy, thanks to which, despite having finished second, they sign a contract with the record label Sony Music. Beginnings and training
THE Maneskin they see their origin from the bass player Victoria De Angelis and the guitarist Thomas Raggi they have known each other since middle school, but only in 2015 did they decide to found the group. It is later joined by the singer and frontman Damiano David, and finally, through an announcement posted on Facebook, the drummer answers the call Ethan Torcio. The members of the group are all very young. Damiano was born on January 8, 1999; Victoria on April 28, 2000; Ethan on October 8, 2000 and Thomas, the youngest, on January 18, 2001. They are all born, raised and live in Rome.
X-Factor and success
In 2017 they participate in the eleventh edition of the talent show X-Factor Italy. They pass the first stages of the program already with great success, and during the show their notoriety increases. Judges of that edition were: Fedez, Levant, Mara Maionchi And Manuel Agnelli (their guide and mentor). They rank second (wins Lorenzo Licitra). During the talent show their hit single is released Chosen, certified double platinum by FIMI. They quickly established themselves in the panorama of Italian music.

Career
The Maneskin career once they have achieved success at X-Factor is fulminating. On 23 March 2018 their second single is released, I will die like a king, certified double platinum record. On April 28th they are guests of Saturday Night Live, led by Claudio Bisio. On June 16, the Maneskin will participate in the seventh edition of RadioItaliaLive – The concert, to then perform at the sixth edition of Wind Summer FestivaL. On October 26, 2018, the group’s first studio album was released, The dance of life. To present the disc, in some Italian cinemas the docufilm: This Is Måneskin.
The album was followed by one European tour, The dance of life Tour, which was sold out in each of the planned stages, which led the group to add new dates in the following summer period. In September 2019 the Maneskin released the video of The distant words, the latest excerpt from the album, which is immediately positioned in the trends of YouTube Italy. The band identifies this last song as one of the closest to their project and to which they are most closely linked.
Their new single was released on October 20, 2020 Twenty years. On March 6 they win Sanremo 2021 with the song Shut up and good: interviews followed and hosted at Domenica In and Che Tempo che Fa.
Thanks to victory at the Sanremo Festival 2021, i Maneskin they perform atEurovision Song Contest 2021 with the winning song of the Sanremo festival Shut up and good. The evening that sees a representative from each European country in the race is on 22 May and is broadcast on Rai 1 and conducted by Gabriele Corsi and Cristiano Malgioglio and on Rai Radio2, on the other hand, the live broadcast is accompanied by Ema Stokholma and Saverio Raimondo. The Maneskins manage to bring the award back to Italy after 30 years by triumphing at Eurovision thanks to the decisive weight of the votes from home, after finishing fourth with the points of the technical jury. Their album Teatro D’Ira vol.I turns out to be an international success dominating the charts across Europe.
Damiano and the Maneskin are currently busy recording the album Teatro D’Ira Volume II expected to be released by the end of 2021. In the meantime, the Maneskins fly to the US in October 2021 for two historic dates: in New York and Los Angeles, which are a great success. Their mini tour ends with the date in Las Vegas where they open the concert of the legendary Rolling Stones.

Private life
Very famous and very reserved the boys of Maneskin. Their friendship was born between the benches of Kennedy high school in Monteverde (Rome) and from there the magnificent 4 began to play in many streets of the capital, from the Colli Portuensi to Via del Corso.
